Provenance:
The environs of Túrkeve, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county. It is possible that this plate was originally found at the Bokroshalom as well.

Discovery of the finding:
The exact findspot is not known. It was found probably before World War II. The find was collected by Lajos Györffy, and it became part of the collection of the Túrkeve museum in 1951.

Material:
2 mm thick iron plate.

134x137 mm.

Artwork:
Its form recalls the shape of the Tiszabezdéd tarsoly plate. The position of the rivets is indicated by five perforations. The small stud on one side probably also served purposes of attachment.

Usage:
This iron plate was most likely the backplate of a tarsoly cover plate.

Finta Múzeum, Túrkeve - leltározatlan.
