Provenance:
1st grave, Cseh tanya, Tiszanána, Heves county

Discovery of the finding:
The first grave was found accidentally on a hill exploited as a sand extraction pit. Its finds were handed over by their finder to the local priest. Excavations began in 1958. In 1960, another grave was disturbed in the findspot.

Material:
Silver foreplate, copper backplate.

Size:
Of usual form, but of considerably smaller than the average. 98x90 mm.

Artwork:
Plain silver plate with thirteen dome-headed rivets along its border and a pair of three-petalled silver mounts on top and in the centre which, together with the copper backplate, held the frontplate and the suspension strap in place. Gyula László discerned the outlines of a shamanistic design on the plate.

Usage:
The plate was broken in the middle and soldered together again.
